The Miramichi River is the most prolific river for Atlantic Salmon in Canada with the fish counters on the main branches recording upwards of 30,000 salmon each year. In conjunction with Country Haven Fly Fishing Lodge, located in New Brunswick, Canada, we are offering a fully inclusive 7 day fly fishing adventure in September 2010. The September UK Spey package is offered at a lower cost than the standard UK package and includes spey casting clinics on a daily basis. These will be fitted in between the fishing sessions and provide tuition and guidance on spey casting techniques. These clinics will be run by Bryan Martin and Brian Warrington, holders of both the trout and salmon APGAI qualification, the leading UK advanced professional fly casting and fly fishing instructors qualification. All levels will be catered for so whether you are already experienced and want to improve your technique or a complete beginner wishing to learn spey casting, we will provide you with instruction to suit your needs The spey clinics are included as an addition to the standard UK package offered by Country Haven Lodge and do not incur any additional cost. Bryan Martin has fly fished for Salmon, Trout and Sea Trout in the UK,Ireland and Canada for over 30 years. He is a member of the Game Angling Instructors Association, is an Advanced Professional Game Angling Instructor (APGAI - Salmon, Trout and Sea Trout) and has the Salmon and Trout Association National Instructors Certificate (STANIC - Salmon and Trout Fishing and Fly Dressing). He is also an L2CCA licensed angling coach in these disciplines.
